The revolver loving Togusa. He is a undercover police officer that uses social engineering as a way to complete his goals. He does a lot of role-playing in order to get information out of the people. One example is that he will study a person or a ’Mark’ to see if they would be a willing informant. He does a background check to understand that person’s psychology. If Togusa believes that the ’Mark’ will not cooperate, than he will role-play in disguise as some one who can sympathizes with his ‘Marks’ situation and social engineer information out of them.

Trusty Revolver

When Togusa gets in trouble, he uses his trusty revolver to shoot his way out of a bad situation. Does this plan always work? No. Is this a good plan? Maybe. Does the Major end up saving him? Most of the time. Togusa is mostly human. He only has very few communication implant for when trouble arises and a tracking device incase he really needs back up. Other than that, he is completely non-augmented. This is also extremely dangerous, especially when evil cyborgs want the shoot anything that moves. This can be even worse when bad guys show up wearing full armored Mech suits equipped with high powered weapons.

Togusa is the most human character on the Section 9 team. He has a family and you get to see the human side of him much more often than any other character in the whole show. He is the most realistic character since he is not augmented with cybernetics.
