Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born in London on April 10, 1992. She has four older siblings. Her mother works in bank communications. Her father is a photographer, and her great uncle was a well- known actor named Arnold Ridley. She attended Hertfordshire Trig Park School for the study of the Performing Arts. After naughty bouts in the primary school, her enrollment in the next school was more directed to channeling her energy towards the Arts. After receiving mentorship from her teacher, she started developing her interest in acting.
In 2012, she was brought on to work as an actress in a animated production film called Scrawl. In the next year, she appeared in the Lifesaver and Blue Season in addition to the appearance that she made in a music video. She was also featured in a British TV shows Toast of London, Youngsters, and Casualty.
In 2014, she made her appearance in two television projects named Selfridge (a departmental store drama) and Silent Witness (a forensic crime series). Daisy Ridley started working in a pub to make her living, but then at that time, J. J. Abrams announced that he is looking for a fresh face in the Star Wars. When Ridley came to know this, she immediately sent her agent to find out more about J.J.’s project. After making 5 auditions, Ridley finally received a call from J. J. Abrahams for the role.
On December 18, 2015, The Force Awakens opened and earned $528 million all over the world and broke the box office. Ridley, Hamill, Boyega and the other cast of the Star Wars 7 started working on the next chapter which was both a great film and extremely controversial The Last Jedi (2017).
Even though most of her energy was spent for working on the Star Wars movies, Daisey Ridley still found some time for narrating and producing the 2016 documentary of The Eagle Hunters. She also translated the Japanese movie Only Yesterday in English. In 2017, Ridley joined the cast of Kenneth Branagh for Murder On The Orient Express. Furthermore, she has been featured in many magazines and said to be one of the most attractive ladies in the world.
Daisy has endometriosis; although she has gone through many surgeries, she is still recovering from that. She was in relation with Charlie Hamblett, a British Actor but they separated.
According to Elle, Daisy spends five hours a day doing workouts and exercises. Moreover, this is basically in addition to her routine stunt practice. Well, this may be one of the secrets behind her fitness. In an interview, she said that she considers herself as a cheating vegan. She avoids eating meat, eggs and other dairy products.
She states that reducing dairy products and sugar in your diet, can affect positively on your skin. Regardless of so much practice and workout, she stays away from the heavy junk food and likes to eat oatmeal, wheat products, and lots of fruits.
